A PFA is available to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.  This civil order prohibits the offender from abusing, stalking, harassing, threatening or attempting to use physical force.

Assistance for victims of crime: Explanation of Judicial System, case information and notification, referrals, and accompaniment to all court proceedings.

 

County Detectives Domestic Violence Unit Services

Handles cases that may cross jurisdictional boundaries or cases that may require extended amount of time to investigate; provides a 24-hour on-call service to the officers of the county to answer technical questions related to their investigations.

Provides an important service to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking. The program has two basic parts. First, the ACP provides a substitute address for victims who have moved to a new location unknown to their perpetrator. The second part of the program provides participants with a free confidential first-class mail forwarding service.
